What are tags?

Tags are a great way to organize your photos. Enter words that can be used as keywords or categories to describe the photo. For example you may want to enter names or events. You can also create unique tags to easily group your photos. ZoomIn tags are private and only available to you. When creating tags, remember these simple rules:

• Case does not matter – so Adam is the same as adam
• Multiple words are split into individual tags. Include them in quotes to keep them together.
• Words such as “and” and “a” are not included unless you put them in quotes.

How do I create an Album?

Once you've signed up as a ZoomIn member, uploading photos to your account and creating Albums is simple:

Your First Time Uploading to an Album:

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. Click on the "Create your new Album" button
3. Choose a name for your Album
4. Click the "Browse" button and choose the photos you'd like to upload from your Computer.
5. You can select multiple photos from your Computer by simply dragging the selection or pressing shift or ctrl
6. Once you have selected your photos click the "Upload" button

All Future Uploads:

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page, click the "Add New Album" tab
3. Select "Create new Album" and type in a name for your Album OR choose to add photos to an existing Album by selecting that Album from the drop-down
4. Click the "Upload Photos" button
5. Click the "Browse" button and choose the photos you'd like to upload from your Computer
6. You can select multiple photos from your Computer by simply dragging the selection or pressing shift or ctrl
7. Once you have selected your photos click the "Upload" button

How do I rename an Album?

Once you've signed up as a ZoomIn member, uploading photos to your account and creating Albums is simple:

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page, click the "View Photos" link next to the Album whose name you'd like to change
3. From this page you can click on the name of the Album and it will allow you to edit the Album name

How do I add captions to photos?

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page, click the "View Photos" link next to the photo for which you'd like to add a caption
3. From this page you can click on the caption field under the photo and it will all you to add/edit the caption

How do I delete photos from an Album?

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page click on the "View Photos" link to the right of the Album you'd like to view
3. You will see thumbnails of all photos within that Album
4. Click on the photo you'd like to delete
5. Click the "Delete Photo" on the right to delete this photo from your account

How do I delete an Album?

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page, click the "Delete Album" link to the right of the Album you'd like to delete

How do I edit a photo?

ZoomIn offers a wide variety of easy-to-use tools for editing any photo in your account:

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page click on the "View Photos" link to the right of the Album you'd like to view
3. You will see thumbnails of all photos within that Album
4. Click on the photo you'd like to edit
5. Click the "Edit Photo" button on the right to see the menu of editing features available to you

What types of editing tools are available for my photos?

We offer a wide variety of editing tools that you can use to alter or improve your ZoomIn photos. A sampling of available tools includes:

• Rotating a photo
• Adjusting red eye
• Cropping photos
• Zooming in or out
• Filling light
• Adjusting the spirit level
• Adjusting the colors
• Applying sepia tones

How do I rotate or flip a photo?

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page click on the "View Photos" link to the right of the Album you'd like to view
3. You will see thumbnails of all photos within that Album
4. Click on the photo you'd like to rotate
5. Use the rotating arrow shortcuts in the right column to rotate your image, or click the "Edit Photo" button and select the "Rotate" feature from the menu of editing options

How can I adjust for red eye in my photos?

1. Sign in to your ZoomIn user account
2. From the "My Albums" page click on the "View Photos" link to the right of the Album you'd like to view
3. You will see thumbnails of all photos within that Album
4. Click on the photo you'd like to adjust
5. Click the "Edit Photo" button in the right column
6. You may want to zoom in on your photo first so you can see the red eye clearly. To do this, select the "Zoom" feature from the menu of editing options.
7. Select the "Red Eye" feature from the menu of editing options
8. Highlight the problem area and choose "Apply"
9. If you did not get the desired results then choose "Cancel"

I made a mistake when I was editing a photo. Can I get back the original photo?

Yes, you can. When you are viewing a single photo within your account, there is always a "Download Original Photo" link available to you.

How can I keep my photos organized in my ZoomIn account?

There are many ways to keep your photos organized in your ZoomIn account. You can create separate Albums for your special events, tag photos with key words that describe the photo, and give meaningful titles and descriptions to your photos.
